Our company
Founded in 1999, Conceria della Vallarsa Srl operates in the lambskin and shearling leather sector for clothing, footwear and leather goods intended for high-end fashion companies.

The company is located in Trentino Alto Adige, with 5,000 m² of covered factory space in Sant'Anna di Vallarsa, in the valley floor between the Pasubio plateau and the Trentino Little Dolomites.
The company is an example of resilience to the harshness of the wild and unspoiled landscape in which it is based. Conceria della Vallarsa is the only shearling production company left in Northern Italy.

Specialisation has been the company's guiding principle from the start:
technology, fashion, craftsmanship and respect for nature are sources of pride.

The range of products manufactured allows us to meet all our customers' needs, starting from the design and development of the individual items. More specifically, the company uses leather from about 12 different breeds of sheep, a by-product of the meat supply chain, which make it unique in its sector and enables it to offer a very wide range of items. The breeds processed are mainly of European origin, with a prevalence of French species and the presence of Eastern European skins.

There are always more than 200 items in our sample selection, with a range of 2,000 different colours available.

The value of our local area
One of our most unique features is being able to draw water from a mountain stream (the Leno stream), and then return it in a purified state at the end of the process. The factory has a full-cycle, chemical-physical-biological purifier, with direct management, which ensures compliance with the regulations of the province of Trentino, notoriously stricter than those of the national legislation.

Conceria della Vallarsa has been recognised as a 100% green energy user, i.e., the company's energy consumption comes from totally renewable energy sources, thanks to a close partnership with the local provider Dolomiti Energia. This certification tracks the energy produced by renewable sources and promotes a cleaner energy market for our future.

Conceria della Vallarsa is part of the ZDHC global Roadmap to Zero programme, an initiative that works with companies in the fashion production ecosystem to phase out hazardous chemicals from the global fashion value chain.
